Seized Contraband

On March 14, 2024, Grande Prairie RCMP Drug section, with assistance from Grande Prairie RCMP Police Dog Services and Grande Prairie RCMP Crime Reduction Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in the Countryside South area of Grande Prairie City.

As a result of the search warrant, the following items were seized:

  • 110.4 grams of cocaine;
  • Canadian Currency; and
  • Drug trafficking paraphernalia.

A 19-year-old individual, a resident of Edmonton, a 56-year-old individual, a resident of Sangudo, Alta., and a 45-year-old individual, a resident of Whitecourt, Alta., have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

All three individuals were released on conditions and are to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie on April 29, 2024.
