On March 14, 2024, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of found human remains on Range Road 55, south of Township Road 730, near the community of Clairmont. RCMP have identified the deceased as Echer Marcial (34), a male resident of Grande Prairie. RCMP Major Crimes Unit is now investigating and are considering the death suspicious.
An autopsy will be conducted on March 18, 2024, at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton.
RCMP are requesting assistance from anyone who may have video surveillance in the area where the human remains were located.
